Batch 6 here again. Got charged today. It was weird because I got a transaction denied message… but was charged anyway. The transaction successfully made it through somehow. Maybe they tried charging me twice? No idea.

Got charged too maybe they tried twice and once they failed it sent an automated email. I’d send a email for Support!
Came here to say the same thing, though I didn’t have any weirdness like that. They just charged the card.
For clarification I first got an email from my bank saying the transaction was declined. I then got an email from framework saying the charge was *not* declined. So i then check my bank account to find that the charge did in fact go through. It’s debit and I put a limit of just over the cost of the laptop so that’s why I was suggesting they charged me twice. It’s the only thing that made sense to me.

Got the email today saying that my paymant went through successfully. Not seeing anything on my credit card yet, think it will appear on monday. Shipping in December was promised, so everything is fine!

Good! Also to clarify that didn’t happen to me I was giving advice I should have been more clear on that! I was charged and got an email that it was confirmed!
I just read this now. My FW16 Gen 1 in February came from Taoyuan, Taiwan to the Chicago suburbs via FedEx International Priority DirectDistribution. I did not have to pay customs, import fees, anything like that. It arrived the day after it shipped due to time zone differences. I don’t know if its different for Gen 2 today.

Just got my shipping email. Says it’ll arrive on Dec. 29th. As long as that estimate is correct (or it arrives by the 31st) this is working out exactly how I’ve been hoping it would.
It was on track to be delivered today… until it got stuck in customs… it’s 4 hours away from me.
I am so excited for it, waiting with antisipation!

Uh oh… Mine cleared without any delays. Hopefully customs isn’t being inept with your laptop? Hopefully they really do just mean it’s a bit delayed and there’s no real problems.

Not to rub it in Doherty’s face after the customs delay, but my Framework has actually arrived as of about an hour ago. I am not at the location is has been delivered to currently, holiday travels and all, so I must wait a couple of days. Though somebody has brought it inside for me thankfully.

To ease your potential concerns, I personally think it probably isn’t anything to worry about. I admittedly find that I personally tend to blow things out of proportion whenever something that appears negative happens, and this appears to be a common trait among many people. It may come a bit later but you’ll ultimately still get it. I also get how frustrating it is to be told somethings been delayed after already waiting 12 weeks for a pre order.
