Hi. I got my DIY Framework, and I love it. But the camera is not working. Can someone please help? I’ve got Pop OS loaded on.

What version of Pop!_OS do you have running? (I wish I’d tested the camera on 21.04, but I upgraded immediately to the 21.10 beta. I can confirm that it works on 21.10 beta).

I’ll ask the obvious question, did you try unplugging the module itself and reseating the connections?

Make sure the camera switch does not show red. Red means that it is off.

It’s a regular UVC-compliant device, so the version of the OS really shouldn’t matter (it’s not like the fingerprint reader where support for the specific device needs to be added — there’s a standard surrounding webcams and pretty much everything is compliant).

Thanks everyone. I figured out that the camera switch was a bit sticky and I guess I didn’t have it totally turned on. Thank you!
