I have the most recent (2025) Framework 13 AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series
Fedora 42 Workstation (Gnome)
Kernel 6.15.10-200
Firmware 03.04
I’m guessing this might be a Linux thing more generally, but maybe it’s device/driver related? I have tried searching these forums and the internet but have failed to find what I’m looking for.
THE ISSUE:
The sides of the touchpad (around 1cm of the left & right edge) don’t allow touch-movement to start within. I assume this is some kind of logic to reject accidentally dragging one’s finger from off-touchpad onto the touchpad maybe? or the regions are reserved for “scrollbar” gestures?
I seem to often start a touch movement on the right-edge, but it doesn’t do anything, and I have to redo my touch movement starting farther into the touchpad.
Is there no way to disable this feature?
Thank you kindly for any assistance/info. ![]()
