Dead screen, and warranty

Hello all, i think my screen is dead. It’s almost 2 years now, everything was fine, all of a sudden, the screen backlight dont work anymore. I read that it could be a cable connection issue, so i opened the laptop, and checked the cable. But now it’s worst, i don’t have any display so far.
I’m able to use USB and my dock to get something, but the screen laptop is still black.
I’ve already contacted the support, and waited for their reply, but i’m not sure if this will be under warranty or not.
From my understanding (Framework | Fix Consumer Electronics) on EU (i’m in France) warranty have been extended to 2 years :

if you purchase the Product for delivery to the UK, EU or EFTA, the Warranty Period shall be two (2) years

EU warranty is 2 years, so you should be covered.

Note that backlight issues can be also caused by the mainboard when that fails to output enough power.

Thx buddy, now it’s worst, no screen at all. I’ve raised a ticket to support, and did receive a reply.
I made a couple of checks, and sends a bunch of pictures.
I’ll update the post in case someone run into the same issue.

Everything went fine, as it should. Support sent me another screen after reviewing my pictures, i’ve replaced it, and now everything is back to normal. I now need to send back the screen for repaire.
I wanted to highlight that my support experience was great and smooth.
I’m so pleased not to have to justify myself for anything : i’m still having warranty, the screen is broken, it’s been replaced.
I’m also pleased to think that the old screen will be repaired.
