Does anyone know if batch 17 (128gb) ships Q4 2025 or Q4 2026?

I’m seeing Q4, but I don’t know if that means for 2025 or 2026

also, does anyone know if the whole micron summoned consumer ram ragnarok is going to affect anything?

I ordered in Batch 16 8 days ago. It was just delivered.

Based on this, I’d assume if you ordered today you’d likely have it before the end of the year.

I just got the “We’re preparing your batch!” email this morning, so either on the next week or probably by the end of the month are my thoughts.

Batch 17.

Same here! Happy that I managed to get one before they inevitably have to hike the price. It seems to me that this is quite soon after batch 16, so I assume a few more people panic-bought it

Q4 2026 seems unrealistically - we would wait 1 year for this mini itx.

I ordered today and hope Santa will come to me this year straight from Taiwan! But maybe im naive, anyway will have enough time to prepare nixos for it and solder few split keyboards (currently working on Totem ;)).

I ordered on the 6th, paid on the 9th and it was shipped on the 12th and will arrive in Belgium on the 17th (ETA). I hope yours will also arrive before Christmas

Mine was delivered today, a day earlier than expected!

Only reading the topic about the PSU is making me a bit nervous, also the new bios has issues.

Installing the noctua fan was a bit tricky but using the trick with using the supplied screws to gently push the fan in to place has worked. I installed Fedora 43, but that was it, I did not have time to fully test the system. But system was dead quiet the time I spend with the system (but of course no actual real load on the system).

Did you upgrade the bios? I started worrying about noise from PSU and ordered NCASE M3 too as a backup if I would need to return FD and replace with some Ryzen 9 7900 + Noctua NH D15 G2 HBC + RX 7900 20GB + standard 750W Corsair PSU. That should give me a Mac Mini noise level and performance wise it should be similar to Framework Desktop.

Yea, isn’t going to be as quiet as a mac mini. Just saying. A Mac Mini is basically a solid-state piece of electronics. I used to run an NCase M1 v6….The above rig wouldn’t get to that noise floor even at idle.

I did not upgrade de BIOS yet, wanted to avoid the startup delay. The system has been very quiet and the PSU issue has yet to occur (knock on wood).

Got mine yesterday (EU). Incredible nice hardware. Works fine so far (Fedora 43), but PSU noise as described in forum: It’s dead silent for a few minutes, then there’s about 30 seconds of high-frequency whirring, then silence again, and so on. It’s a shame, because otherwise the computer is so well designed.

That is a real bummer that the PSU has that issue. I hope mine won’t start doing it. Hopefully Framework will come up with a fix.
