Few minor issues I came across

Hello,
I have been using my laptop for about two weeks now and I really like it.
However, there are few minor issues that I came across and want to see if anyone has the same issue.

  1. When I use my fingerprint on Windows, it keeps prompting me Something went wrong on our end” and I have to try a few times to get it to recognize my finger. I have tried reinstalling the drivers and readded my fingerprint, but it’s still the same. Could this be a Windows issue?

  2. Windows turns immediately back on when I put it to sleep. I have tried unplugging everything from the USB port but it still turns back on. I think this is a Windows issue since this is not the case with my Manjaro install.

  3. Sometimes the trackpad decides to stop working for less than a second and then starts working again. I have checked the connection but doesn’t seem to fix it.

These are fairly minor issues but annoys me just a little.
I am curious if anyone else has had the same issue.

Thanks!

If this only occurs with your Manjaro install, it’s likely actually due to a bug with PSR (panel self-refresh). You can find multiple forum posts about it, it needs to be disabled in your boot manager. The bug is solved with kernel 5.14, not sure if that has made it to the Manjaro repos yet.
