Fingerprint sensor not working windows 11

I recently bought a fingerprint sensor for my laptop. However, when I go to set up the biometrics, it doesn’t respond to my finger. I already checked the drivers, and some other solutions I found on these forums ( and the internet in general. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Here are the details of my laptop

  • Windows 11 24H2
  • Framework Laptop 16, AMD 7040 Series, AMD Radeon™ RX 7700

I updated my bios and it fixed my issue for anyone else with the same problem.
