Welcome to the forum.

Curious :: With the 11th Gen Intel there was no 03.02 BIOS the early one was 3.06 from what I can remember back in 2021. The current BIOS is 3.20, did you mean that ?

I dual boot Win 11 and Ubuntu 24.04 (6.8.0-45-generic) and often I have to restart Ubuntu as there is no Wi-Fi but it usually kicks in on the second boot. I thought it was just the dual boot as I tend to hibernate Windows when using Ubuntu.

So bios version is insyde corp. 03.02
And smbios version is 3.3

3.02 shipped on the earliest 11th gen laptops, it was never released as a BIOS update. It may be worthwhile to update the BIOS to the latest version to see if that helps.

Agree with others. BIOS version seems like the likely cause of your issue.

(FYI: Also an 11th gen user here, with Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS, BIOS 3.20)

Ah ok. It started working on its own after another reboot or two.

But I’ll update the bios too.

Thank you all for the help! Still rocking and loving this machine.

Try reinstalling the Wi-Fi driver or running sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade to see if that fixes it. Also, check if the linux-firmware package is installed correctly.

I recommend that you read the support doc and the forum discussion on the 11th gen bios updates before attempting the upgrade. I think there are some restrictions on skipping some of the intermediate versions.
