Newcomer to this forum but I figured I’d cast as wide a net as possible. A couple weeks ago my Framework 13 completely stopped working. It was an AMD 7040 Series running Windows 11. The last time I’d used it before what ever had happened, happened, the battery had gotten low enough to go into windows power saving mode after which I put It in my bag then didn’t use it for about 2-3 hours. When I got home I noticed It wasn’t turning on but figured It was probably just low on battery so I plugged It In and It seemed like It was charging(side led lighting up red). I let It charge till the side indicator turned white and yet pressing the power button did nothing, no power button led lights, no fan spin, no nothing.
I’ve been in conversation with support these past few weeks but have hit the end of their troubleshooting so I figured I’d come to yall. All the things I’ve tried include
charging it
holding both the external and internal power buttons for 20+ seconds
disconnecting the battery and running it off wall power
disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes and plugging it back in
resting the mainboard
cleaning the battery socket
and charging from the expansion ports
None of these things have worked but I have gotten a blink code with red lights on the following
1 Red/Green Battery connected check 3 Power Good VCCIN_AUX 10 Red/Green CPU reached S0 state
If anybody has any insight they can share I would be so grateful!
@Mathias
Based on the tests you have done, it seems to discount the battery as the cause.
Thus, maybe the problem has nothing to do with the battery. In that case, the message " Power Good VCCIN_AUX" implies a hardware fault.
But, just to caveat that. The system might not boot without a battery unless the coin battery installed.
I don’t know if lack of coin battery causes the VCCIN fault or not.
Another option is to get a EC CCD card, to see more logs from the EC and read more details from the battery.
I think you should reach out to Support. This is something they are best equipped to look into, since they can check your hardware details and guide you through the right steps.
To get in touch with them, you can do the following:

Took my laptop to a repair shop after the recommendations, they found that apparently the pins on the screen cable had bent on the mainboard some how and made a shorted which completely killed it. Thanks for all the reply’s and help trying to solve things though!
