Framework 13 display blinks (disconnects and reconnects)

Recently I am starting to see this issue. When the laptop is stationary, it will suddenly make this sound (“Device Remove”), the screen will shrink to 90% inward, and then immediate recover and makes this sound (“Device Connect”).

Please help me understand the issue. My gut feeling feels like it’d require a manual repair on the monitor connection.

The screen is otherwise functional

It was solved. Turns out it was because of the HDMI extension card. Once I took the extension card off. The behavior stopped. I need to figure out if it’s because of the card is faulty or just not connected well.
