I recently received my FW 16 w/ the US English keyboard, which is a huge improvement over the Lenovo P1 Gen 5 keyboard I used before (the P1G5 has horrible key travel and a debounce algorithm that causes it to regularly lose keypresses).
However, the FW16’s key debouncing is also not optimal as I sporadically see kepresses being duplicated, i.e. pressing a key one produces the character twice.
Has anyone seen this before?

I haven’t used my FW16 all that heavily, but I’ve never seen a repeat key after several months. If you haven’t already, I’d give support a try.
I have opened a ticket a few minutes ago. Let’s see how it goes.
did this ever get resolved? have had this problem from the beginning with two keyboard modules, and it happens more the warmer the machine gets.
Support has been clueless with regards to the cause of this issue, which is why I returned the laptop.
I’ve had my laptop 16 for a couple weeks now. I get occasional key bounce (enough to be annoying) as well as the space bar sometimes not registering a press.
you could of demanded a keyboard replacement, might of been faulty keyboard. Seen some people getting faulty ones.
when i type on my keyboard it works fine but some times i think i am to quick when i use caps lock button since when i use it, then it can actually do something like HI instead of Hi when i turn caps lock on and then off so i also registers as I before it becomes small letters again.
But i think that is just me being to fast pressing the caps lock button, since i do not really see a issue with my keyboard atleast.
