I purchased a framework laptop 13th gen DIY edition a couple of months ago and for the most part it has been working very well. However a couple of weeks ago I noticed that when I would try to close my laptop it would require quite a bit more force and made clicking sounds coming from the right hinge area when i did. It gradually got more and more stiff to the point that it is very difficult to close and generates much louder clicking.
It is weird though. If I first pull the lid back and then forward again quickly it offers no resistance and closes without any clicking. At first I thought it might have been some of the wires around the right hinge obstructing it somehow but when I opened up the laptop, everything seemed fine.
Not sure if that is enough info for anyone to help but I honestly have no guess as to what could be going on.
