FW 16 AMD-AI-300 (all batches) shipment tracking thread

Arrived around noon pacific time on New Year’s Eve. Assembled it and installed Artix. What a difference from my old AW17R4.

Do you have an nvidia GPU? I am having issues with my Arch install. I boot to a black screen after installing KDE Plasma and am wondering what drivers you used.

I dont, I just have the AMD Ryzen 370. I did have a brief black screen for a while but then the framework logo pops up and the installed Linux boots.

I do use Niri with Arch though, no KDE

I ordered on 26.12. a HX370/64gb ram/2tb NVME - shipping to Austria and in batch 10.

Batch 10 just received the prep email!

Got the “Your order has shipped” email about 3 hours ago. Batch 8 with 96gb RAM. Right now it says it will be delivered on January 6. Even if it’s a bit later this has been a good pre-order experience especially with the craziness in the RAM market.

Shipping nightmare, stuck in customs multiple times. At least it finally stopped predicting it would arrive “tomorrow” and now says Monday. Still don’t expect it by then.

The same thing happened to me. Not sure if it is customs’ fault, FedEx’s fault, or Framework didn’t submit the right paperwork or what. But mine did finally show up, so hopefully you will get yours Monday at the latest!

OMG - I am such an idiot - for my order placed on 26.12.25 I noticed that the “We’re preparing your batch!” email was in my spam-folder since 02.01.26 and I also did not have a default payment saved :frowning: - I would suggest that you check your spam-folder and whitelist the email “support@frame.work”

It’s now a two week exception with delivery “tomorrow” (which it has been for each day). A FedEx said it was down to the type of shipping being used and that my order couldn’t depart until the rest of it showed up. I’m guessing there are just some holiday nightmare logistics issues going on that can’t be helped.

Yeah this is getting of ridiculous, mine was charged last Thursday, was hoping it would be shipped Friday or Today and support assured me it was going to ship right after the charge email. I have emailed support twice today with no response. I am really hoping it gets here by the end of the week this is crazy!

They do mention in the emails that shipping occurs in the next few business days after invoicing. While a lot of people had their shiping confirmation the day after, there is no promise that it’ll happen that fast for everyone.

Yes definitely, but it is just disappointing. I was early batch 9, and they did not notify me that the 32g was in short supply or give me an option to switch it to get it shipped faster, and on top of the the side things I had, had to removed from my order so that delayed it too. I wish they were more proactive in these types of things with support reaching out.
