Sneaky update in the order page. An e-mail would have been welcomed.
Well, as I ordered the FW12 I already said that I think it will be august. (Preorders do often take more time as estimated), but I had some hope… 
I’m just glad at this point I didn’t order the RAM or it would be sitting on my desk untested, return window expired and reminded me I was too late to pre-order to get on a earlier batch 
August for batch 6 here as well. (grey, i5, german keyboard, 4x grey USB-C)
I won’t order any RAM or SSD until I have the tracking Nummer and some movement.
That is really, really out of order…
There is no reason they couldn’t have done a post to the forum, whilst someone else updated the ordering system…
There is an updated post from 3 hours ago about this on the first comment in the following thread on the forum. You can click the pencil icon on the top right of the first comment to see the history of the edit.
Unfortunately, this is not enough for people to notice. @catastrophic could also comment to notify people of the update on the thread.

We’re on track to complete shipping for Batches 0-2 by the end of July. However, we are now expecting to complete Batches 3-6 in August due to production constraints at our manufacturing partner. Our team is doing everything possible to accelerate these timelines, and we’ll fulfill orders as soon as they’re ready. We’ll continue to provide updates as we receive new information.

Yes, that was my mistake. I updated the title of the post as well to make it more clear there was an update. If I receive any more updates, I will update that post and the title. I didn’t want to confuse people by making a separate post, but it seems I still caused confusion so my apologies!

As I only monitor the FW12 threads, as this are the only ones that I’m interest in, I didn’t see this update.

So I now have to monitor every thread on this forum to receive updates about my particular area of interest, only the FW12 …?

No, you don’t have to monitor every thread. If you go to the bottom of a thread that you want to monitor, you see the Watching/Tracking/Normal/Mute selection. If you select “Watching”, maybe you will receive an email when the thread is updated.
Which is exactly what I am doing on this thread, and the first update I see on the shipping date moving is the one I replied to…
I don’t expect that of you, I’ve noted for future updates I will share to the batches affected to make it more clear.

As batch 4 receives the first mails, it could be possible that we are getting shipped this month, I think 
And still I’d like to switch colors, but don’t want to wait additional 4 weeks
