I got the same thing. Is there anything to do to speed it up? I’ve read the “clearance delay” thread and the subreddit and I’m not sure if calling and emailing will help or if it will slow it down.

Batch 7 here, a lot of us had that clearance delay too on Saturday last week and they cleared it on Monday. I received my framework on Wednesday.

I am very happy to see that the FW12 is on its way to my city. I am fully aware that it is not a 64 core workstation but I am trilled to get my hands on it regardless. Planning to put Omarchy on it to test the distribution. But later on I sadly have to windows-ify it to give it to family where it will replace an ancient Core2Duo. In that sense it will replace a snail with a rocket.
Personally I would love to see an FW12 Risc-V,… dreams but hey so far I am just excited.

It’s just in customs and didn’t clear instantly. Mine had that status for almost an hour on Friday but it’s now at the destination sorting facility.
Also, you can likely ignore the “Memphis” part, that’s where FedEx is headquartered in the US, so any US based bureaucracy holdups are usually listed as occurring there, even if the package isn’t in Tennessee at all. Your package is likely wherever it said on the previous step (mine was in Oakland CA, for example).

It won’t make much difference in the first few days, but it’s also not likely to last that long. Give it two business days before emailing, but also count on it getting cleared faster anyway.

Was prepping to leave for work, cycled arround the house. Fedex said Wednesday, buts mondag and there it was. My bestie her laptop is here and we both come back tonight. Glad it made it out of France and into the Netherlands. Im glad its save and sound. Maybe ill prep a install usb later today.

You’re giving me hope lol. I’ve been waiting on that tracking email 5 days (I know they don’t work over wekends only 3 buisness days) and keep refreshing my email hoping it’s -soon-

I have not received any mail apart from the “Payment confirmed” (3rd step), but it has arrived today out of nowhere, so don’t loose hope! Surprise to be sure, but a welcome one

That seems… a bit problematic honestly. I was curious so I logged into my FedEx account and sure enough there’s a package from Framework that shipped Friday and is currently in the states after a clearance delay.
Haven’t received any notification from either FedEx or Framework that the order shipped. Given FedEx’s unfortunate history of leaving packages at my doorstep without notice, that could have ended badly.
Edit: my Order Status still reads Pre-Order Confirmed, not Shipped, if anyone from Framework reads this and tries to figure out where wires got crossed.
Second edit: got the shipping notification after the package cleared customs in the US

I’m also at the “Pre-Order Confirmed” status, but knowing that people in earlier batches got theirs I’m hopeful for today! I’m in Canada, not sure if that makes a difference in shipping… I thought it was going to arrive last Friday, but that was mainly because I’m having it shipped to work (road construction is making home deliveries inconsistent), and by bad luck I was sick and called out Friday, so if it was going to arrive unexpectedly that would have been the day it did 
AFAIK it didn’t come, so at least I wasn’t home all weekend wishing I I had it to play with and having to wait until today

After waking up and reading the forum. I’m watching the windows. I never got a shipping number and don’t have a FedEx account. So it’s just fingers crossed for now.

So found out I apprently have a fedex account, my package was also in the mephis delay, and left mephis 5am yesterday, so likely today or tomorow I am getting my laptop. Glad I’m getting it and off most of both days to recieve it (getting offered a new position in my current company today and interviewing for others tomorow) but deffintly could end badly if I get it before the notif and hadn’t seen to be keeping an eye out.

I just got mine today, bubblegum gang!
I am using the Finnish/Swedish keyboard layout and my touchpad was not working after installation. I tried various different distros and a windows 11 live image but none of them was able to detect it. I removed the input cover and inspected the touchpad assembly.
It seems that at least on my board the ZIF ribbon cable is really short and it does not go up to the printed white line as in the instructions (https://guides.frame.work/Guide/Touchpad/447?lang=en#)
However, by fiddling it with enough I was able to get it to work. So if anyone is experiencing issues with the touchpad, maybe inspect the ribbon cable connections and try to get it deep in there!

Mine was delivered this morning! It was ordered by my graduate mentor for research/school affiliated stuff, so I have to wait to get it until he’s in his office later today, but I can’t wait!
