Is anyone else having issues with the power adapter? The USB-C cable aspect of the power adapter seems to not be functioning. The laptop will charge when using a known good cable and the power brick, but will not function with the supplied USB-C. Strange happenings, confirm it was the culprit by connecting it to another device that did not power on.

I haven’t tried it yet, but have you made sure that the usb-c module you’re using is plugged into a slot that works with usb-pd?
Yes sir. I have isolated it to just the USB-C cable. If I were to plug my known good cable into the same power brick and the expansion slot the laptop will charge. I confirmed this by using the shipped cable on another device and it would not power on with the shipped cable, but worked fine with my known good one. I mostly wanted to check out everyone else and see if anyone had the same problem that I did. Could be a challenge to troubleshoot if someone else is experiencing the same problem.

I have the same problem. My cell phone doesn’t charge with the power adapter, but the laptop does
My newly arrived FW 16 just got the same issue. The power adapter worked for a couple days and then stopped charging. I tried both USB-C charging ports (on both sides of the laptop) and none showed any sign of current. I tried a different USB-C charger and it worked so it’s definitely not the laptop nor the USB modules.
I just connected the USB cord from the power adapter to my phone and it gave me this message which makes me think the USB-C part of it is faulty:
Oh yeah, I just plugged a different USB-C cable into the power adapter, and it charges no problem.
I received a replacement USB-C cable today and my laptop now charges normally. Troubleshooting both parts of the power adapter was defiantly worth the time. FW support was very fast and helpful with getting a replacement cable to me.
