Hello! I’ve read alot regarding shipping and shipping issues on the forum but its been a few days and and i just want to make sure everything is good, My Framework Laptop 13 order has been sitting in California. It said there was a delivery update today but when i looked it was still in the same place with just as much information as it gave me on Saturday when it arrived there. I know Saturday was a weekend and I shouldn’t expect movement during the weekend, its only been two weekdays, at what point should I be concerned?
Same issue here. Ordered a Framework Desktop (batch 15) and it’s been sitting in Memphis with “clearance delay - import, unknown status, non-Fedex broker” since Friday (11/14).
Gotta admit, looking forward to playing with this when I get time off next week for Thanksgiving… 
Hopefully these delays don’t ruin my fun? lol

That is definitely a positive way of looking at it.. I’m more than sure that will be fun! I’m still waiting same status since yesterday. I am hopeful for next week. Or Friday maybe… maybe….
Any updates on the customs delays for batch 15 desktops? Mine has been in Memphis since the 15th, no change in status - says: Clearance delay, “Unknown status: Non-FedEx broker. Recommended action: Responsible party contact broker.“
Any approximate expectations?
I am in the same situation. My Framework desktop is stuck in FEDEX customs (California). Its been there since 11/14. I’ve even submitted a support ticket with Framework but haven’t heard anything. Really counting on it being here before the holidays so I can get it setup as my daily driver work machine before I get back to work.

Just an FYI: it took 6 - 9 days to break down pallet, and clear customs at the fedex hub for my device that was shipped in Oct. The status even said released then went back to delayed for another two days. Once it was released and left the Hub (Memphis in my case), it took another day or so to get to my house.

Currently also waiting for my shipment. I ordered November 13 and the package was sent from Taiwan the very next day. It arrived on Saturday (Nov 15) but sat there in Memphis until Tuesday (Nov 18) with the "Clearance Delay - Unknown status: Non-FedEx broker. Recommended action: Responsible party contact broker. " status.
I checked again today and it has updated to the following:
Clearance instructions from the importer are required.
Recommended action: Importer must provide instructions.
Customer has requested non-express clearance.
Recommended action: No action required at this time.
Unknown status: Non-FedEx broker.
Recommended action: Responsible party contact broker.
I’m not sure what FedEx means by the first two; I’ve never requested non-express clearance so I’m guessing this is from the Framework/broker’s end. The date of the status update is still Tuesday but the two line items did not show until this morning.
I’m hoping the shipment is still being processed by customs and that it gets here before Thanksgiving.

Mine now has the same message. Sounds like some paperwork didn’t get sent with the shipment or got lost in transit.
Update: Looks like Framework / FEDEX has resolved the issue. Just noticed a new status of “International shipment release - Import” with a new delivery day of tomorrow.

I have the same. But no updated information since it changed yesterday. Supposed to be delivered today. We shall see!
So, I don’t think mine is being delivered today, the last scan was on Thursday and was : 12:34 PM International shipment release - Import OAKLAND, CA , but my package says its out for delivery and i’m in Oklahoma, it says it was supposed to be here today and is still telling me its going to be delivered soon…even though its currently 9:13pm here and I doubt any one from FedEx is still out and about, im okay with being wrong lol but… I can’t help but feel that i cant trust the tracking. Did anyone who had theirs change to scheduled delivery today, get theirs today?
*Update* - mine is now saying it departed the FedEx hub this morning - from CA - So it was never actually going to be delivered yesterday, some automated process was probably triggered prompting the unhelpful scheduled delivery prompt I received for yesterday. I hope this helps anyone else who thinks their tracking looks weird.
My machine was stuck in customs, but even after clearing customs on the 20th, and missing the flight out on the 21st has not moved from Memphis? As of the 20th and even all day on the 21st FedEx claimed that it would be delivered on the 21st. When I called FedEx, they claimed sometimes it goes out on the next flight. No movement, still shows an exception and no no delivery date.
Anyone else have a similar situation?

The delivery bit happened to me, said it was going to be delivered on the 21st, Never showed up and then finally started moving through the network and is now headed to me potentially today. Don’t trust the tracking until it says it left the fed ex hub in Memphis.
Also mine was stuck In customs for almost a week before it shipped out.
My tracking updated to “International shipment release — Import” on the 20th, but then went to another “Shipment Exception — Held, cleared regulatory agency(s) after aircraft/truck departed” on the 21st. I assumed it would just be shipped out the following day, but it’s been stuck there since and still is as I write this on the 24th.
I reached out to FedEx support this morning and got the following response:
Hi ,
Thanks for reaching out to us about support ticket C-.
This shipment is still under U.S. Customs & Border Protection review and hasn’t received clearance at this time. Your package was shipped on a pallet with different boxes for different recipients. Customs will give us the pallet after all the boxes clear. The clearance is being done by the shipper. Please contact your shipper for information on the clearance. Once the full pallet clears we will update the delivery date.
So it looks like it is still stuck at CBP even though at some point it was “cleared” for release. I’m disappointed that the proper customs declaration/documentation wasn’t provided from the start. Hoping the laptop gets here before Thanksgiving, or else I’ll have to wait yet another week.
Even when customs isn’t involved, Fedex delivery estimates tend to only be correct about 50% of the time. I know this because I have gotten a lot of shipments from them this year via Lowes for my home renovation supplies.
But yeah customs and imports seem to be a bit of a wildcard here. I’m just hoping my Vacation Hold works so it isn’t delivered while I’m out of town. I don’t mind waiting until next week, just don’t make me do an 8 hour round trip back to my front porch please.

We were also ‘unlucky’ and had some pallets chosen for the deeper ‘random inspection’ by CPB. Things should be starting to move along now, for the majority of shipments. My package got stuck in Memphis for almost a week with no updates, even after pretty quickly clearing customs in Anchorage. If anyone else is stuck with no updates in a similar (non-customs!) boat as I was, here’s your golden FedEx support phone number:

I was connected almost instantly to someone whose first question was “what is your tracking number” and never even asked why I was calling — they knew I was calling about a shipping issue already and were able to deduce a course of action from literally only the tracking history and whatever they can see at their end. Highly recommend trying this if you stop getting any updates for multiple days in a row for no reason.

Does anyone have a sense of when the december orders for laptop 16 will ship? And - I guess this is hard to know but any estimates of how long shipping usually takes including customs clearance? TIA!
