Incomplete order/unresponsive support

Hello,

Apologies for posting this here. FW support is unresponsive with my order and as a result my FW16 arrived without a power supply.

As noted on the order status portal, I opted to follow FW’s request to submit a support ticket instead of canceling and re-creating the order.

I assumed my order would not ship with an open ticket to modify the order- incorrect assumption on my side.

Frameworks landline # indicates to create a support ticket, support is unresponsive, so I’m here on a public forum trying to get my issue addressed.

Can someone from the Framework team please follow-up with this?

Why not keep the laptop and order a power supply now? You can power it from any USB-PD power supply you have handy until the official one arrives.

@lbkNhubert Long story but I already have a 240w on order and it’s arrival would be close to the 30 day return window plus the framework 180w states it ships in around a month so no need to spend the extra $$ and potentially jeopardize the return window.

That makes sense. I incorrectly assumed that the 180w from Framework would ship immediately. You could run it from a lower-wattage source, but you won’t be able to push it and see if it works for you. Hopefully you enjoy the setup when you finally get it all. Have a great day!

Exactly right. The “burn-in” tests I like to do would at least require the 180w.
