Laptop freezing with external monitor Windows 11 Home

Hi,
I have seen discussions on this but they look to be Linux based.

I’ve had an external laptop for about three months, using four days a week and all has been fine. About two weeks ago my laptop started to freeze - this seems to be happening from the day where I plugged in my mobile phone to charge it, while also still having external monitor plugged in, as well as USB mouse and laptop charger.
I’m wondering if I overloaded my laptop at that moment and it hasn’t been able to recover properly. Now it freezes 0-3 times a day when the monitor is plugged in, no freezing when monitor isn’t plugged in. I have to restart to be able to do anything.

I’m using Framework 13, 11th Gen Intel(R) Core™ i5-1135G7 @ 2.40GHz (2.42 GHz). Windows 11 Home. 128mb graphics card. RAM 8GB(7.79GB usable), speed 3200MT/S.
External monitor - Lenovo ThinkVision M15 15.6" Mobile FHD USB-C Monitor.

Any suggestions on how to rectify the issue? (Preferably still being able to use the external monitor)
