tl;dr: Once my microphone is turned on by an app, it does not turn off when the app closes.
I’m using a Logitech Brio 500 webcam, and if I turn it on (e.g., through the Cheese app, or even just opening the GNOME sound settings dialog), the microphone indicator light (solid yellow for this webcam) does not turn off even after closing the app. I would like to have some assurance that the microphone is no longer recording.
I use this same webcam with a Macbook Pro and a Framework 13 laptop (with Ubuntu 24.10), and neither of them have this issue.
Thanks for any help!

I’m trying out Bazzite (Framework Desktop config) with GNOME 48 (regular desktop, not Steam gaming mode).
I’ve never used Bazzite before, so maybe this is an OS problem instead of a Framework Desktop one?
