I just purchased the Satechi multiport with an ethernet adaptor (USB-C Slim Multi-Port with Ethernet Adapter - Satechi), but I can’t get it to connect to the internet.
The device doesn’t even seem to be recognized under the device manager. Their FAQ site says it should be called “RealTek USB GbE Family Controller” but I don’t see that listed at all. I installed the drivers on their site, restarted, and tried multiple ethernet cables, but still no luck. It is working to charge my laptop and connect the external monitor though.
Any ideas? I need to download some mega files.
