Problems with windows wakeup

Hi,

Last days I had a really annoying incident with my framework laptop 13. When I closed the lid, waited a bit, eg an hour or so and opened the lif again, there is only a black screen and the fan runs at max speed. I always had to do a hard reset. Today, before an appointment, it happened again, and the still opened pptx slides were corrupted when I had to do the hard reset. Do you know this behaviour? If this is a normal situation for this laptop, then I have to get rid of it, even if I love the concept. Not a single notebook from hp, lenovo or mac book I ever had showed such a bevahiour.

I use windows 11.

Seems like a corruption or glitch in the standby process. I would ask if you are using the latest FW 13 drivers? I saw that FW recently updated a driver set for an AMD mainboard. Can’t remember which one it was.

I agree with your comment on most laptops not doing this. Hopefully, there is a driver update or something that handles this. FYI: Intel based mainboards do not seem to have these issues.
