[Resolved] FW 16 A9 370 Bios Boot Manager: Can not change boot priority

New Gen2 FW16 Laptop BIOS: LFKN6.03.04 BIOS Release Date: 11/06/2025

Linux Fedora 43 KDE Plasma installed on Primary HDD

Windows 11 Pro installed on Secondary HDD

Problem: When entering BIOS I can not change the sequence in the Boot Manager. It gets me to the Boot Manager selection, but then neither the sideways keys, not the up and down keys let me select the entries to change the boot order.

Any idea how to change it? 1st I thought it was a Grub2 issue, but after un-hiding Grub2, I realized that Grub doesn’t come into play until “after” I selected boot entry via F12.

To change boot order:

During power up or reboot press: F2

Select with arrow keys: Utilities

With arrow keys: Change Boot “auto” to boot “First”

Then change boot order with arrow keys to the one you want to change to booting 1st and use the F6 key to move it to the top position.

Last: Use F10 key to save changes and exit.
