Can’t wait! I’ve had this ram sitting on my desk for too long now. Somehow managed to snag 32gb (16x2) of 4800mhz cl40 sodimm ddr5 on facebook marketplace for 60 bucks Canadian (around 40USD)!! Pretty much brand new, whoever I bought it from is apparently a Linux developer who wanted 64gb on their new laptop lol. Sad it’s not faster RAM especially with how much that affects iGPUs apparently, but for that good a deal I’ll gladly take it.

Also, sidenote finding it kinda funny that my order on the website uses this as the picture. Surely the expansion card is the most important thing in this order, nothing else of note here. Surely. (not a complaint, just funny lol)

I’m leaving the country for a month on the 17th, so I’m really hoping it arrives before then. the fact that everyone’s shipping is happening really fast still gives me hope.
but I am starting to worry it’s not gonna make it in time.

Maybe they need more time to produce mor laptop for the batch.
If this is true, it feels like it is unlikely for them to ship out more laptop next Monday or early Tuesday…

Congrats to all you batch one folks, I’m batch three and very very excited! I will be watching very closely to see all of your experiences with different RAM kits. I really want 64GB of one of those 5600MHz CL40 kits but they’re pricy and the UK seems to be lacking in availability so we’ll have to see what works.

In the States, ordered the lowest config: DIY, R5, 8G, 250G, no charger with 4 usb-c card.
Order conformation Mar 25 1AM UTC. Havent been charged.
It seems like most of the laptop which has been shipped doesnt have ram/ssd purchase.
