I’m trying to connect my two ASUS VG289Q1A monitors to my laptop using the RTX 5070 USB-C port. I don’t need a full KVM solution, just output to the two displays, preferably using their HDMI ports as my desktop uses the DP inputs. I see various options for USB-C to HDMI splitters, but I don’t know enough about the differences between DP and HDMI to know if they’ll work. Does anyone have any suggestions for a simple adapter with one input and two outputs?
You will need a splitter that can take USB-C Alt-DP as input and uses MST to support two independent HDMI outputs (rather than mirroring them).
