Shipments now being delivered via DHL?

Hello!

Is Framework now shipping via DHL to Australia?

Someone who I know here just ordered one and got a tracking number which is from DHL. (This has been verified)

Thanks!

It is great news! DHL is still my best delivery company. I have commented on the topic below in the past.

If you had to add Delivery Instructions, how would you do it?

I don’t know. You can ask customer support or install the DHL app on your mobile phone.

You may change your delivery address to a DHL pick-up spot by asking customer support, or by the app. I see it is convenient. I haven’t tried it in DHL, but I have always changed the delivery address from my home address to the pick-up spot (locker)'s address later after I ordered items on e-shops via another delivery company.

We ran into some issues with the FedEx IPD program in Australia back in May. We’re always looking into the best shipping options for each region, and for now, DHL seems to be the right fit for that route

I am using DHL for shipping my parcel from a different country to my living country now. It’s not Framework’s shipping but my private shipping. It was very easy to change the delivery address from my home address to a picking point’s address on DHL.

After a sender sent my parcel, the DHL sent an email to me with the message “If you want to collect from a Service Point, or select another delivery option click here (link)”. I clicked the link, and just changed on their website without using a mobile app. It was very smooth and secure with asking an authorization by sending a one-time password via email or mobile phone. I was impressed with their workflow.

Can confirm DHL is good here. Had a good experience with them. Excellent tracking, Local support, quick answering times over the phone, modifying delivery instructions over the phone was painless!

The original poster was asking whether DHL was the new (main? only?) courier.

As a reference:
My Framework Laptop 16, as well as the guarantee replacement parts and all other parts I ordered from Framework were delivered to Germany by UPS, then handed over to a “trusted partner”, in my case Hermes, who delivered it to me, even though DHL is the market leader here.
Hence DHL doesn’t seem to be the new main or only courier outside Australia.

I don’t understand what your point is in your comment. Shouldn’t I post my experience with DHL? I think the following comment may answer your questions. Framework is still using FedEx International Priority DirectDistribuution program (mainly?). But for Australia, they are using DHL.

My point was as follows. Rather than answer the original poster’s question your post assumed (‘It is great news!’) an answer to that question. Compare the following question and answer. Question: ‘I’d like to know whether roses like sunlight’. Answer (or pseudo-answer): ‘It’s great that roses like sunlight - I will put mine on the window sill.’
