So, I’ve already read the posted from aruseni which requested a no-logo back cover, and learned that there is no plan for such change.
However, I want to mention that, a bare Gear logo is not really good for publicity, because people from outside the circle might not actually know what the icon represents. The communication provided by that logo is not really that good.
I would suggest maybe a full logo (the gear icon + text) is a better idea. Then you can put the logo to a corner (kind like what Lenovo did for many of their laptops). This will also allow the consumers to put their own personality stickers front and center without covering the laptop logo.
