Suggestions on carry bag or sleeve

Hi there,

Passing through to recommend an Etsy upcycling manufacturer for those who like me would want a colorful and unique sleeve

I actually directly contacted them specifying the dimensions of FW13 and they created a custom order. I also bought a small pouch to put the charger, with an internal separation allowing to add supplementary accessories like USB drive or expansion cards. Communication was excellent from begining to end, product is beautiful (to my taste), and the computer is perfectly snugged while easy to put in/out, as the dimensions were specifically adapted, taking into account the corners aspect.

I highly recommend, even if delivery can take a bit of time depending on where you live.

Does anyone have Thule Gauntlet (MacBook Pro 14"), how’s the fit for Framework Laptop 13? By specs it seems the bag would be a bit tight on the shorter edge and a bit loose on the wider edge. Photos of the fit would be nice! :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi,

I was wondering if Framework plans to sell laptop bags or sleeves specifically designed for your laptops, which have a somewhat unique size? My 13-inch Framework laptop doesn’t fit snugly in a standard 13-inch MacBook sleeve—it moves around a bit.

Thanks!

… and now i want a case for the 12"! for people interested in that, follow Suggestions on carrying bag or sleeves in the framework 12 topic!

I recently got this laptop sleeve stand for my framework 13, the 13-14 inch fits almost perfectly

I was gifted this MUJI laptop sleeve and it’s a snug fit for the FW13 but it works for me. It’s padded so my laptop is well protected. I like the incognito aesthetic and the magnetic closure is a nice touch. I’m careful with it around water and I expect the corners of the sleeve might get bent up in time (so far it’s sturdier than I had initially expected) but price wise, I think it’s a great budget option. It’s recyclable and it wouldn’t break the bank to buy another one to replace it once it’s life cycle ends.
