Hi community,
I ordered the framework laptop 13 on October 01, 2022, Delivery Batch 4.
I am not a careless user, and I have not treated my laptop and charger roughly.
However, recently, I found that the outer insulation of the USB-C cable of the charger is broken, as shown in the photo. After using black insulating tape to fix the problem, the broken parts were further torn down.
(1) Should I stop using this since the inner wire is exposed? Is it dangerous?
(2) Could you please recommend some other USB-C cables that are much more reliable and can be used for the voltage for laptop’s charging?
Thank you very much.

It was resolved a few weeks ago.
I have contacted Framework laptop support and have sent them several pictures to verify. They quickly sent me a new USB-C cable for free. Thanks for the support of the community. Thank Framework company, for taking care of this issue properly, even out of warranty.
