Well, it seems that with time I’ll have to regularly get into new topics like this one. Coming here just to add my voice into this one too. This was a previous one I’ve participated in:

and my 2700u starts getting too irrelevant, so I’ll soon be on the market for a new machine, and will likely have to purchase two units.
I really hope they make it and get the touchscreen+gorilla glass option (or whatever other option there is). If I have to be frank there are no other vendors trying to innovate, so based on what they did with the camera I think they’ll excell in the touchscreen option too.

So only touchscreen and shipping to Bulgaria, though the latter is probably not such a problem for me at least :slight_smile:

i hope it is backward compatible.. i don’t mind the the hinge only opens 180 degrees

Anyone know if the 12” touchscreen will be compatible with the Framework 13? I absolutely hate not having a touchscreen

Unfortunately it’s not.
Because the FWL13 uses a non-touchscreen, there are no touchscreen pins on the display-side of the FWL13 cable (there is no place for them). And the FWL12 cable will not fit the FWL13. The FWL12 mainboard-side is 30pin for size and cost reasons, whereas the FWL13 mainboard-side is 40pin.
