Which Linux distro are you using?
Ubuntu 26.04
Which BIOS version are you using?
LFK30.04.02
Which Framework Laptop 13 model are you using?
AMD Ryzen™ AI 300 Series
I upgraded the BIOS to the latest version. I have flashed the Ubuntu 26.04 OS onto a USB-C flash drive. I tried both the top right and top left expansion card slots to boot Ubuntu 26.04 (and 24.04). I always keep getting the error - file /boot/ not found. Note, again, that this is a freshly assembled AMD Ryzen AI 300 Framework 13. Please help.
What all I have tried:
- Two different flash drives with both Ubuntu 24.04 and 26.04 (four combinations)
- Top right and top left expansion card slots for all four combinations
- Balena Etcher, Raspberry Pi Imager, and Mac terminal command
sudo dd if=~/Downloads/ubuntu-24.04.4-desktop-amd64.iso of=/dev/rdisk2 bs=1m status=progressfor all 4 combinations from #1 - I have checked shasums for both the OS ISO files
I’m just stuck in the same spinner screen as the user from this post: Struggling to boot Ubuntu
