Eager for framework marketplace to launch in india, I really need to replace the fans, 3 blades have been torn off somehow and it makes buzzing noise.
I possibly also want to upgrade to newly launched AMD motherboard at once

Exactly why you shouldnāt freight forward.
Yes. As Amoun said, the discussion or encouragement of freight forwarding is prohibited across all Framework community platforms. Iāve removed the offending comment.
Please note that Framework does not support freight forwarding to unsupported countries as they do not have the authority to sell or ship their products to any countries/regions outside of their officially supported country/region list located here: What countries and regions do you ship to?. If individuals proceed by entering invalid/incorrect billing information, their order will be subject to cancelation/refund, and their payment method may be subject to blacklist. If the order does proceed, they are acknowledging that Framework is not responsible for anything that may happen as a result of not utilizing Frameworkās direct shipping to a supported country/region, and that they are fully accountable for any additional costs incurred, or documentation required. Additional information can be found in the Framework Terms of Sale and the Framework Limited Warranty documentation.

Hello! I would like to extend my support to making Framework available in India! I would be happy to see it here.
do you plan to ship to hungary?
Sweden, Finland and Denmark are now eligible for the framework laptop, however, Norway is not. Just wondering if there are talks between Framework or Norway/Some action being taken?
Would really love if you could specify when you will ship to india
Im in grade 11 and would love to buy the framework 16 when going to uni
Iām pretty sure Framework would be forced to partner with an Indian company, they may not want to do that as it adds costs and complexity. Might be a while compared to more Euro companies (assuming the whole euro zone isnāt covered by now) or even other Asian countries. They arenāt in China either and thatās easily a market as large as India.
4 years and still no word of when this will be available in India?
Would be nice to have a bit more information about the next wave of shippingā¦
Lots of indians here. I would like join the list. I have thrashed every handmedown laptop into several in warranty repairs, the asus techs feared my name, I really like the direction framework is heading it especially the framework desktop.
Subject: Request for Framework Laptop Availability in Thailand**
Hello Framework Team,
I hope this message finds you well.
I am writing to express my strong interest in purchasing a Framework Laptop and to request that you consider expanding your shipping options to include Thailand. As a student, I am looking for a versatile device that can serve as both a laptop and a tablet, and the Framework Laptopās repairability and modularity perfectly fit my needs.
My current laptop, a 2021 model, has only 2 cores and one soldered RAM module along with a removable RAM module. Unfortunately, this setup poses significant risks and potential wasted costs if the system fails, especially since the CPU no longer has driver updates past 2022. Additionally, I have experienced issues with my BIOS updater, which has rendered my laptop unusable for running physics simulations in Blender.
Given these challenges, I am eager to invest in a new device that offers flexibility, upgradability, and long-term value. I believe the Framework Laptop is the ideal solution, but I am currently unable to purchase it due to shipping limitations. I am particularly interested in a version with an AMD CPU, as AMD offers powerful integrated graphics at a competitive price, which is important for my needs. I do not mind the thickness of the laptop as long as it meets my performance and durability requirements. Additionally, I am looking for a battery life of around 13 hours to ensure it lasts throughout my school day.
Furthermore, I am planning to buy the laptop in about 2 years, around the time I transition from grade 9 to grade 10. In Thailand, this transition is a significant milestone in my education, and having a reliable and versatile device will be crucial for my studies. I have been eagerly waiting for the Framework Laptop to be available in Thailand since I was in grade 5. Now, as I prepare for grades 7-12, where we use tablets that support pens more than traditional laptops, I see the value of a versatile 2-in-1 laptop even more.
Additionally, economic conditions in Thailand make it challenging to afford high-quality technology. The cost of products can be significantly higher relative to local income levels. For example, an item that costs $9 USD might feel equivalent to $200 USD in terms of affordability here. As a result, we often focus on repairing and upgrading old devices to extend their lifespan, much like with desktop PCs. Having access to repairable and sustainable technology like the Framework Laptop would be immensely beneficial for students and professionals who need reliable devices without the burden of high replacement costs.
Your current pricing is perfect and very reasonable for the quality and features offered. Additionally, I would love to see an option for a transparent body instead of an aluminum one, so I can show off the customizations inside my laptop to my friends. I also prefer not to have AI in the laptop, as my school already provides Copilot Plus to everyone. Moreover, having Linux support is essential for me, as it will allow me to keep my laptop fast and efficient even when I donāt have the funds for upgrades. Another key feature I would love to see is a BIOS that allows for overclocking and fan ramping with a modern UI. My dad, who is a technician at my school and has fixed 400 to 500 devices, can help me tune the BIOS to optimize performance. Lastly, as someone who enjoys sketching designs and doing CAD work using Blender, having a 2-in-1 laptop is crucial for my productivity and creativity.
If there are challenges in setting up sales channels in Thailand, I recommend using popular e-commerce platforms like Shopee and Lazada. These platforms are widely used in Southeast Asia and India, making it easier for customers to access Framework products. You can create profiles on Shopee and Lazada and advertise on your website if customers from Southeast Asia buy your products through these platforms. This can serve as a temporary e-commerce solution.
I kindly request that you consider adding Thailand to your list of shipping destinations. This would not only benefit me but also many other potential customers in the region who value sustainable and repairable technology.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to the possibility of purchasing a Framework Laptop in the near future.
Best regards,powleffdes
