I couldn’t find any existing posts so I thought I might as well start one to revive the old tradition. When I was waiting for my 12th Gen intel, the forum threads made the wait a little easier to digest. So, I will go first.
I will admit that I was definitely worried that it was going to be a damp squib owing to all the teasers, but was pleasantly (and rightfully so) surprised and excited by the 13 Pro. As a long-term Frameworker, I am happy this arrives at the right time personally for an upgrade.
Ordered as soon as it went live.

Memory/Storage: None — already have a Lexar NM790 as a spare, and presciently ordered a 64GB LPCAMM2 a while back riding the hype on the interwebs.
Considering our recent guild thread title formats, shall we rename the current thread name “Framework Laptop 13 Pro - Batch 1 Guild” into “FW13 Pro Batch 1 Guild”? Could you rename the title?

@Esscan1 Framework Laptop 13 category has new tags: intel-ultra-series-3, laptop-13-pro-chassis now. Could you edit your first post adding these 2 tags, removing intel-ultra-series-1 tag? Okay. destroya at Framework updated the tags.

Ordered just the X7 mainboard. Got 16gb lpcamm2 elsewhere - currently I have 32 and I discovered I rarely ever use above 16.
My 2 year old 55wh battery is still at 89% capacity and 55wh seems to last better than 61wh, with the longevity of 74wh being unknown. Keeping the 55wh/old chassis seems safest.
Edit: sold off my extra RAM and enabled zram instead. Working well so far

Was able to get 32gb of LPCAMM2 off amazon as soon as I ordered before they sold out. Very excited for this. I had originally wanted a T14 Gen 7 but as soon as this news of the 13 Pro dropped I ordered immediately. Glad I did too because the T14 G7 seems to not have X7 cpu availability as of writing this and won’t for quite some time.
I also preordered a dbrand skin and just got the shipping notification. Do they know something I don’t?!

I feel only slightly bad, but I sort of pulled a switcheroo on Framework. I had just bought the 13" 7840u refurb DIY when it came back in stock recently. I got it, and loved it, but had a list of wants and desires that would have made the experience better. Que the Pro getting announced, and I snagged a batch 1 pre-order, and instantly bought a 32gb LPCAMM2 off of Amazon before anyone knew what happened. I still have a Gen3 2TB NVME that I’ve been rocking, and I hope to upgrade to a Gen5 eventually. Just didn’t expect prices to go up that fast so soon. Well, after I booked my pre-order I returned my regular 13". So I feel a little bad, but so glad I was still in that 30 day window. For me the Pro fulfills all my bells and whistles. Even though I can upgrade at some point, I imagine it will be a long long time before I need to.
Migrating from Macbook Pro, but I have lot of years experience with Linux, it’s more common for me nowadays and it’s actually less buggy than macOS. I considered new ThinkPads, but Framework wins. When I saw graphite Pro first time, I was just shocked in the good way.
My pre-order also still says June. Which I guess isn’t a lie even if not shipped until 6/30. I am definitely checking on the status way more than what is healthy haha
Mine still says June. From what I remember, it only took 3-4 days from shipping to delivery. So, I am hoping for 2nd week of June for Preparing your Batch emails
As I remember from the FW12 the shipment began at the end of the month. I’d expect it here too, just to keep expectations small. Even the 30. is june and FW never said at the beginning of june.
If you snagged the X9 and got into the limited batch it doesn’t ship until July. I believe it’s a totally separate batch from the folks who see batch 1.
I preordered the X9 within seconds of the site going up and I still see “ships July”, so I think it’s just something with the X9 version and shouldn’t affect all the lucky X7 and below folks in batch 1.
That said, if Framework wants to send an early X9 unit to a special fan I’d be willing to take on that responsibility.
I am wondering that it is so quiet… No Yewtube-Reviews (although it’s already june), nearly no “Batch x-Guild”-Threads here in the forum (except this one and I think just one other thread).
