Deliveries to Europe are currently delayed by up to 7 days due to global freight disruptions.
I guess this applies to our preorders as well. (I‘m in Batch 3)

Same. Monday morning. I’m tempted to take the day off work because I know I’ll be itching to set it up with the box setting next to my desk. 
Any issues with the cable routing like people in batch one mentioned?
No problems with the cables. Bezel fit the first time without any issues. I followed the guide.

FedEx did not learn and still tries to gaslight me by saying the recipient was not available again…
Well all right. I was just literally opening my front door to head to the office when the FedEx truck pulled up and I’ve got the framework box in my hand. Looks like I’m not going to get much work done in the office.

Received mine this morning. So far its pretty great, though not sure I love the install process for LPCAMM2 memory, though thats not on Framework.
Some initial observations. The grey keys on the keyboard with the orange accents are darker then I was expecting from the pictures I had seen, which is a good thing in my opinion. Also the translucent orange bezel and USB-C ports look pretty sick with the black chassis.
Touchpad seems a little overly sensitive, maybe too easy to click, but I am sure I will figure out a way to adjust that.
Also, just took the drive from my old FW13 with an HX370 and installed it in this one with Ubuntu, everything seems to work ok. I don’t know what the speaker tuning is out of the box, but with the presetup profile I had in EasyEffects the speakers sound so much better than the old FW13.

I just got mine set up, I’m expecting WiFi speeds in the single diget kilobit range on Fedora 44. I’m not sure if it’s the hardware or something with the software yet.
It’s a Fedora problem. Kubuntu live works just fine

Same but I didn’t follow the guide. I can’t set it up until my child flies to bed though.
Batch 2 here! I’m typing this on my new laptop and it is pretty much everything I wanted and then some! X7 358H and 64 GB RAM, matte black everything.
Pros:
- This is the nicest touchpad I have ever used on a non-macbook and it was perfectly tuned out of the box
- I love the thicker chassis at the front, but appreciate that there is still a slant so it’s easy to pick up.
- The fan is so much quieter than my previous framework (i7-1360p) that it’s hard to believe that it’s actually cooling it!
- Holding my lpcamm ram was a strange experience because it is definitely the highest value per gram item I’ve ever owned.
- This laptop can compile my work codebase five seconds faster than my desktop PC (i9-10900k), despite having four fewer cores and a heterogeneous architecture, and while drawing less than 1/5th the power.
- The Arc B390 GPU is very capable and is a noticeable upgrade over Intel Iris graphics.
- The battery life is nowhere near 20 hours when actually using the thing, but it is significantly improved - I just checked while typing this and my power usage is at 5 W with 13 hours of projected battery left at 91%. Phenomenal!
- The screen is amazingly bright and 120 Hz is a very nice upgrade from 60 Hz. Unfortunately the response time isn’t stellar, but it’s not bad and games are perfectly playable.
Cons:
- My hinge cables on the right side are too short and came slightly chewed up out of the box - there is not enough slack for them to route through their intended hole. The chassis closes just fine, but it is pinching those cables and it’s very uncomfortable. I’m going to contact support about this.
- VRR doesn’t appear to function properly on Fedora (tried both niri and gnome, same behavior) - the screen fluctuates wildly from 30-60 Hz and produces an absolutely unusable stuttering. I had to disable it for now.
- Coil whine when stressing the laptop on performance mode while docked is very loud, but it’s still quieter than my desktop under full load.
I am very impressed so far, and I look forward to using this laptop for many years to come!
Edit: Despite my comment about the battery life, sometimes the power usage can get absurdly low! I never saw power draw below 6-7 W on my previous framework.
